Thread: Razer Carcharias headset finally broke.

  1. Default Razer Carcharias headset finally broke.

I want a headset that is over ear and has a good mic on it. The Carcharias was a decent set, but the mic could end up buzzing like I had a fan behind me.

Recommendations? I am looking at around a $60 budget.

Steelseries Siberia v2. Most comfy headset I've ever owned.

Earbuds made by Apple Corp. Sound quality wise, you can somewhat hear players around the corner. Mic quality is a solid 3/10; 5/10 if you hold the mic to your mouth. You get like a 2' wire length, great for those close up game plays. Not too comfortable after maybe 10+ rounds. Best part though, I think I can find you one that is under $60.

PM me if you are interested.

This. Got a pair off Amazon a few months ago for ~$40 and have never had any issues. Worth mentioning that with these the price can go up or Down quite a bit based on color.

I use LG Tone Pro Bluetooth around the neck buds and standalone wired mic for gaming. Use the LG Pros for phone and other BT media. Great all around comfortable, quality, controllable device. Very versatile, sound quality is great compared to most at cost and don't think I'll ever go back to wired. With BT 4 and APTX there is no lag in sound unless you go out of range which is decently far.

Plantronics or just by a cheep desktop mic for a few $ and then you can spend all the remaining on the best heads phones you can afford b/c dedicated headphones will always be better than a headset for the money.
