I'm pretty sure I'm correct in that most typical setups have an odd number of people for day 1. Even numbered groups typically get a night start if what I have read is accurate. Since it is an even numbered day start, I'm pretty sure town can do a no lynch and not be worse for the wear in terms of how many mislynches they get before losing.

Just make sure I didn't make a mistake in my exhaustion XD Don't know how I haven't passed out yet. I must have gotten my 5th wind.

No lynch is never a good idea day 1, regardless how many players. This I learned last game. Well what I learned was don't switch from NL to "thinking you may lynch". We take our chances, shoot for the best at mafia.

Voting hosh is not the way to go either.
If you all are "town" we agree as town on Day 1. Don't go you separate ways on this game. Too little people to make a lynch wagon.
