You didn't offer any exlpanation, whether or not things seem obvious to you, they aren't to me (probably because we're partners but I digress), so to me it seems like your action was scummy. Most people that are town aligned would want their votes to be had for a specific reason, and if that reason is now debunked, have it known so the rest of the townies aren't thinking the same.
