He didn’t travel far, before he felt like he was being watched. Being quicker than the one watching him, he was able to get the upper hand.

“Where did he go? He was right here a moment ago.”

“Looking for someone?”

“Oh well, it’s a shame you won’t be able to tell the tale.”

“Not so fast! Spawn of the devil, get back!”

“Praise the Lord!”

“You will not hurt this man. Back in the name of Christ!”

“Enough of this! You are finished!”

With a swipe of his paw, he mortally wounded the defender. As he clung to life, he was able to shout out to his friend:

“RUN you fool!”

The monster’s pray receded into the night, thanking God for the fortune he found this night.
