How did he/she abuse: slapped me off the floating barrel into the water in order to end the round. This is not an illegal spot. This admin has a proven history of making up his own rules (see my last abuse thread of him). A ULA and other admins in-game agreed with me and encouraged me to report this.

I talked this over with anex and he said that staying on that barrel was considered delaying the round, so while i agreed with you at the time, i told you guys a few minutes after that it wasn't abuse when he pushed you off.

The barrel has always been legal last I checked. Like, this has been discussed plenty of times and I've always heard it's legal. If Anex just changed that now suddenly (I didn't see Xerenix mention it, I was afk for a few) fine, that's how it's been for as long as I remember.

If the barrel on Sorrento is illegal then the buoy on Icecap should be too (and it's not). They're both virtually unreachable once a CT gets to them and they're both used to delay the round. I don't really care which way it goes (both being illegal or neither) but there needs to be some kind of consistency with these things so that the same slaps/slays/kicks/bans/whatever-keeps-happening doesn't keep happening.

A difference I see is that the buoy in icecap can be reached as part of a map secret without admin intervention (i.e.: turning on parachutes). The only way to reach the barrel in sorrento (once it's been shot over and into the water a bit) is with chutes enabled which they aren't by default. With the buoy, zombies have to plan ahead and intercept the orange before it reaches the buoy (or island). In sorrento, a zombie could reach the barrel at any point in the map prior to the nuke and prevent a human from using it, either by staying on it or disturbing the barrel to prevent anyone else from landing on it.

All that said, I think buoy on icecap should be legal and if chutes weren't enabled on sorrento then this and the "safe" water area wouldn't be a problem. Disable chutes on sorrento. That might not make sorrento as much fun to play but fuck sorrento. #harrypotter24_7

I agree with this which is why i agreed with it at the beginning but now comes the question, if the ct on the barrel is only survivor, what is allowed to stop the delay? Should we slay the Ts or slay/slap the CT on the barrel just as UDKS did?

This really DO need clarification because 2 Clan members have appearantly different views on the issue.

If it's in a position after the rescue boats leave with zombies, that makes it untaggable, then that is delaying. I guess that's what really happened here. Reference icecap more, but a few poisons can tag buoy. Also, there wasn't a delay rule way back then, we didn't suck so bad and we didn't need new rules for assholes.
