You are 100% of the time going to want to get the files from the fan sub group directly. This has the following advantages:
- You know that the link you follow the download the file is the original link posted by the people that physically created the file your trying to download thus preventing risk of virus ect
- You actually know who the fuck did the translation/edit and have selected a particular group over other possible options of whom you will acquire your releases for a given show based on the merits of that group over others (as compared to randomly downloading shit translations)
- You get to read the release comments and see the pics that some groups post up, good for the lolz and sometimes the meta.
- You can also have access in the case of some groups to DDL of the show so that you can still download if your in a place where torrents do not work.
- You will be able to easily access the batch when the show is done with any script corrections and possibly get news on the Bluray releases
- You can get a heads up about delays or schedule changes such as the fact that the show will not air next week and return the week after for example
- You can leave comments directly on the groups website about their release
By knowing who is doing the translation you avoid shit like this: http://www.crymore.net/2015/01/15/fa...uo-episode-02/
Would you rather have your translation of Yurikuma Arashi be from Japanese translated into German and then German translated into English and get this: http://www.crymore.net/2015/01/06/fa...hi-episode-01/
Or instead you could simply have checked that the Anonymous translation sucks and used a quality group like Asenshi instead and get this: http://www.crymore.net/2015/01/16/fa...hi-episode-02/
Just glancing over the screen caps between the two should make it instantly obvious why you should pay attention to where your release comes from.
