the mercy rule exists in all forms of baseball aside MLB.

you seem 2 not understand anything relating 2 the world baseball classic... if you wana talk shop, I'm all for it... but know what you're going on about.

if you look up how they structure the games for this event, you would see that the mercy rule exists in this specific case 2 prevent there being a bunch of tied games which lead 2 tie game breakers.

once again look it up... it all makes perfect sense once you know the difference between how they do it in MLB and this.

if you listen to the commentators during the video they state that run differential matters in the tournament it would be stupid for canada to stop trying to score/get on base at that point because the games not over yet.
