I did not refer to myself as a regular, in fact I was saying you do not have to be a regular to see the issues. Your stuck on the idea that there are no clanners that frequent zm so you pull this elitist shit on the people who would advocate for you. Instead of letting common shitheads buy admin, make a requirement for admin, say like 500 hours on the server atleast and having clan/ula vote on admin applications... I love this server but recently it has not been fun playing at all..

The whole system is a lie, only promote people to ULA and Clan who frequent on the GG server and base rankings by how good of a hack catcher you are.. Basically excluding the ZM server from ibis since no one hacks; and you let it turn to shit, you look for solutions to an unknown problem on the ZM server, if you look throughout your whole CLAN roster not one person knows the zombie server, you want a suggestion? maybe it doesn't matter, find a regular on the ZM server who's worth promoting and plays daily and watch the zm server change to the better.

You also say that you dont have to be a regular to see the issues, what issues do you see? the abuse threads? i can go on any community website browse their admin abuse threads and judge their server without actual knowledge of what is going on.

also i might add, i am in complete agreement with you that obviously admins abusing their privileges is not healthy to the server, but these aren't the issues here, honestly this problem is the easiest compared to the big picture.

First off, I would only play ZM, never Pub or GG. Then come a bunch of immature ppl getting admin that wouldn't stfu or would abuse the rules(that will never change tho). So I started playing GG and Pub since I couldn't do anything about it. One of the biggest problems is admins stick in groups and doesn't report admin abuse so the server goes to hell. You cant count on players reporting it because they don't know about the Forums. Then if a admin does report it he will get shit on for doing the right thing.

In order to be a decent admin you cant play in-game the entire time. You gotta go into spec to watch when there is a problem. Not just ban when one of your group members complain about a player. Gotta remember if a Player seeing an admin doing shit then he will think its okay too.
Of course some of the rules need to be tweaked and im sure will whenever Zero gets back. Until then you cant break the rules or admin abuse and then blame it on IBIS.

So now im back in Zm and trying to get things a lil better I hope. So if anyone gets banned in the next couple of months I really don't wanna hear any bitching about it.

You do not need to be a regular by your standards to see the issues wth the server. That does not excuse the overwhelming amount of shitty behavior out of the majority of you that refer to yourselves as regulars. Euro is one of the few that has actually made attempts here in the forums to get things changed. The majority of the people bitching in this thread only come to the forums when they get in trouble and want to complain that "clan is shitting on them."

What do you really expect us to do? Suggestions for improvement go ignored. I remember asking months ago about doing something about the insane length of nade fire time. Plenty of regs agreed with me. Nothing ever happened. There are dozens of threads in this forum going back months/years with solid suggestions for improvement that were similarly ignored. When Zero actually does make changes to the server, it's usually random stuff that nobody asked for that either makes things worse (the horrible knockback plugin, the arbitrary limit of 1 ztele per round on escape maps, the gigantic sword skins on the lotr maps that block half the fucking screen) or at best have a neutral effect (disabling fall damage on ze, the anti-spam jump plugin: these things help on some maps but make others worse). At least the people still posting in this thread have some interest in the community. Plenty more regs have just left completely.

I said the clan treats everyone as if they're shit compared to them, which is just cancerous for a community. And if you think that isn't true, then you're delusional. There's a reason why places like GFL, Hellz Gamers, Sunaki and so on are flourishing with activity and friendliness.

I know there's clanners on the ZM server. Too bad they only try and hide themselves from the rest of the community so that way they can spy on the server, instead of actually being a part of it. We're not dumb. We know clanners frequent the server. That still doesn't make them a regular. They don't play. They don't talk. They don't interact with them at all. They sit in spec and watch, hoping that someone fucks up.

Obviously people who break the rules should be punished. But I'm 100% positive that certain users get more attention just because they fucked up a couple of times. So now that leaves the other users to break the rules without being caught because ULA/Clan are too "busy" paying attention to one person to fuck up. Good job there. Yes, the blame is on everyone but that doesn't take away from the fact that the clan STILL do not know what goes on in the ZM server. They read a whole bunch of abuse threads and immediately refer to everyone there as a fuck up. And don't say no one says that because in numerous abuse threads, a lot of clan members refer to the people in the ZM community as autistic fucks.

One last thing, what euro said was true. How the fuck do you get promoted for only being active on 2 servers out of all the servers there are? How is that fair? If that's the case, just promote them to THAT server. Not on every server. They don't deserve to be ULA on GG when they only go there 5 times a month while only playing pub. The most ridiculous thing I've heard of. Core is right. Take away the bullshit "Pay for admin" bullshit. Just look at what happened to pF. The server is dead. The community is dead. Why? Because pricks buy admin and abuse the shit out of it. Then the whole server suffers because of them fucking up. Now, the gets boring and it slowly dies out. Thus, there's pF. It's dies. This is the same thing I said last year yet the clan just tossed it off. Here we are, a year later.

Well I wasn't aiming that one only at you, Im talking about 3 or 4 different ppl. Now since your directing the ULA thing at me, lets not act like I only played zm 5 times a month or that I didn't max out majority of my races on WCS. I got plenty of time on all the Servers.
