P.S. It is not possible to have both an IP in Russia and an IP in the US unless you are travelling across the country. Nonetheless; unless your network has been compromised, it is impossible to be out of country and obtain an ISP based internet address for use as a VPN unless port is opened and access is allowed directly to the network. Time Warner Cable does not allow you to open ports on their newer modems (Ubee and up). I would know; I have TWC - I also work in cabling. "nyc.res.rr.com" in the hostname sums up to "roadrunner" - this is no longer the case as they never changed the RDNS information to point to Time Warner Cable. RoadRunner is now Time Warner Cable.

Should I also include the fact the current account first made its presence known in the ZM server only a day before his old account was permanently banned? Or do I have to start joining zmod and teach you all how rules are meant to be followed? Pray I don't do the second one.

I know what you're talking about; and no it has not. I have not taken advantage of it nor will I ever. That is not my nature. It's just not how I am. I am one who simply brings things to a resolution where everything is the way it should be in the end. No; I don't approve of the government, that being said I don't approve of law. But I do approve of communities as they have no ties to the government, and they make their own rules as deemed suitable. I am a follower of just that.

Thanks champ - appreciated. You would know more about how the situation would be handled in this case anyway as you've been here much longer than I have.

Stars, you know better. Do not, under any circumstances, ban another admin unless told to do so by a clan member or ULA. It could set a precedent we do not want made. i have been on steam this entire time and I never received a message.

We are already aware of the shared IP and are working on this behind the scenes. Sensei brought it to our attention a while back. It is odd that in your research you did not find the other account that shares an IP with yankee.

Player in question has been unbanned while we continue our investigation. Thank you for the diligence.

I should add that there are extenuating circumstances you are unaware of regarding this issue. Not only that, we are working on a solution to prevent future issues of this nature.

What I know is admins should be treated no differently then users, when under a situation like this you temp ban them untill the situation is resolved, which it isnt, if you dont want a normal admins name to be on it, then you need to ban him for 30 days until the situation is resolved. I have ALWAYS been the guy who will argue IP is not a person, every time this sort of situation has been brought up in the past. But here there is plenty more then just an IP pointing to it being the same guy.

Im not setting any precident that is not already there. If I am ever told to by clan to ban an admin, then there is no reason why clan would be unable to do it himself, the only reason why an admin would, is when a situation, like the OT happens and a clan is not IMMEDIATELY available.
