    LOL

I never really got into Warcraft. I downloaded it in like March or April and tried playing for an hour but just couldn't get into it. I guess it's just not the game for me. (shrug)

Are they giving out 'free months' just for going to see the movie? Seems desperate to me but it could be good marketing if their playerbase is equally interested in the movie as they are playing the game. I think I read somewhere that the collective consecutive time played by all users is something like 50 million years? That's some crazy shit. I wonder how many years CS:S (or even CS:GO, with how "new" it is) has.

Ah, I guess it's only 6 million. Still, that's a loooong goddamn time. Imagine living that long and only playing a single game during that time. Jesus Christ.

    WotLK killed the game.

Also the fact that I had ~400 days played across all my characters.

I used to play WoW, even picked up Warlords of Draenor. It was a fun distraction but since WotLK they just haven't captured the greatness that WoW once was.

I also heard the Warcraft movie was all fluff, no substance, and they mishandled big pieces of the lore. If you go in with low expectations and popcorn in hand you might be surprised but otherwise it probably isn't worth your time.

I think they are, at least that's what I heard. If you show proof of purchase with your ticket they give you a month or two free.

WoW is a dying game and has been for a while, WoD was a huge mistake. Garrisons are about as entertaining as watching cum dry. They're bringing them back in Legion too. They're also apparently removing the ability to gear up through PVP, which is just sad. Blizzard is taking away everything that made WoW so successful. They ruined Diablo now they're ruining WoW.
