So, town doesn't have a cop, since I'm assuming there can be no duplicates.

if there's a role cop it's almost as good since we know the last mafia is a goon. so there's that.

if there is a babysitter i'm wondering if they should not protect and instead constantly granny up.

If there is a role blocker remember there could be a doc as well so if there isn't a kill it's not automatically because you blocked scum.
