Thread: Non Fuctional zmod maps that should be removed

    I'll remove them from the maplist (so they won't be in the votemap/admin cant change it to them), after I get the damn ftp password out of ZERO so i can actually add the other maps.

    Alright thanks, I was looking at fpsbana for maps we could add and came across some more bad ones that I think no one will miss here

    zm_towers_hdr_final - another really early map thats been on here for awhile, theres really only two places to cade on this one, and one of them is really hit and miss, last played 6/29/09

    zm_lila_panic_redemption - the map the server automatically resets to after it crashes, with parachutes enabled there really is no way to hold anything on this map, the only sure fire thing to do on this map is head for the vents

    http://www.fpsbanana.com/maps/27125 - this is the latest version, we've got the previous one but I doubt this ones even an improvement on it, they look the same save for one or two details

    There also seems to be a bunch of regular css maps on zmod as well, that for obivous reasons we dont play.

    zm_lila_panic_redemption? Why remove that? It isn't a bad map to play on when there's about 10 people on.

    Edit: Ah, there's a b2 now? Update!

    On a side note, it would be hilarious if we could rescue hostages or plant bombs to win the game in those CSS maps.

    there is never just 10 people on it seems, and with the parachutes enabled its a piece of cake to knock over the vending machine cades in this variant of zm panic v2 which half of the cades on that map rely strictly on and we've got enough of variants of zm panic as it is, so we could easily do without it.

    actually that sounds like it would be a good idea for a new variant of zmod,
    a 12 vs 12 zombies match where instead of turning the humans you have to kill them with your knife.

    and there could be a rescue the scientists map where after you save and defend them from the zombies you get a weapon that quickly kills them and a bomb the hive kind of thing as well, similar to one of the missions in that new game prototype.

    Except for the Redemption one: I can cade pretty well in that large cage.

    thanks, well I know that one of the maps I got added didn't work so might as well add it to the list

    by the way is there any way to go into the server files and delete that annoying john williams song that plays when the helicopters called on ze_jurassicpark_v2 and ze_thelostworld_redux?
