Also, since I know a lot of people are turned off by the idea of a WCS server, is it possible to change races from being "Orc, human, etc" to "Shotgunner, Scout Expert, etc"?
Shotgunner would be a race that benefits short-range skirmishes, spawns a shotgun, gives more speed, longjump perhaps?
Scout expert gives a scout with 90 rounds, more health, invisibility?
Just some ideas to throw out there.

No smog or stun grenades on this.
you get to choose your class like warrior, priest, rogue, shaman and w/e and you go around leveling up the skills jsut for that class. Every class has its advantages and disadvantages. Its more balanced but one certain class has a devestating power over all and is very lethal when leveled properly and is the least expected one to make it
