I'm not sure how you can stand having a headset on. In Florida, your head would be so sweaty from that thing you'd probably pull your own hair out. Though, I can see how you might want it if you wanted privacy, or wanted to stay up late at night.

yeah, i dont live in florida so i dont have to worry about that, but even on the hottest days here it isnt bad at all. plus the majority of the time im playing is when my parents are asleep

Yeah, its about 90s right now here. I just got a new headset and im afraid to wear them because of the heat. This headset also works for the xbox 360 btw.

lol, that monitor and I have been through some hard times.
got it for free in 2004, just got one of them thur hi-tech gizmos called ELLL See Dee. Ah think this El See Dee thing is a french technology combined with german engineering.
