I used to use the HALO hopper as well and it couldn't keep up with my fingers.

it would but the rotor just does it so much smoother and the greater advantage is that the ball feed on the rotor is in the front compared to the halo being in the back.

sometimes I would have to tilt my marker back just to get ball into the feed.

one skill I have just picked up and can actually do without messing up is learning how to estimate how much paint is left in the hopper and refilling it at the right time and while putting paint on a bunker.

there is no secondary in speedball/airball/Xball lol

you run out of paint, you run up the field and draw fire, so your teammates can move up in bunkers.

ya... I play woodsball mostly even though I'm a huge speedball fanatic... but even in woodsball the fucking halo b wont keep up. I go and storm a bunker, start shooting and nothing happend cause my fucking halo is jammed, happend like 5 times last year... not impressed. ill be picking up the rotor in about 2 months.... looking forward 2 it.

and as inthebutt said lol there's no secondary in speedball, if your 500-900 paintballs don't hold up, then you're fucked lol

not 2 mention speedball is really exspensive. your gear that you'll need if you want 2 play speedball seriously, is not cheap. and you will go through more paint playing speedball than anything. Speedball is for ppl who have time, dedication and money. without those things, you can't play speedball seriously... unless you get a sponsor.

as for the history of paintball I'm gonna have 2 disagree. paintball didn't surface till the 80's and it was thx 2 Hayes Noel and Charles Gaines

and the existance of the paintball gun was simply for marking forestry sections, and cattle... until hayes had the brain fart, "who would do better in a survival sittuation? a country boy? or city boy" which lead 2 the first organized paintball game ever.

My dad still has a Splatmaster Pistol. It was one of the first guns they made, all plastic and with 2 barrels, one for balls and the other for firing. I still use it lol.

all plastic? really? cause the 007 is mostly metal and wood. it weights a shitload, I'm surprised they were making plastic guns back then.

my dad used to play when he was younger. he said they used .357 magnums where you actualy had to load 6 shots into the chambers, and all you were allowed to use at the fields were those pistols, i kinda want one now, although it would be pretty useless up agiants what they have now. and my TPX is pretty cool.

No no no. It was specifically meant for Paintball, It was made of plastic with metal internals, single shot with a push slide on back. I'll take a picture of it when I get a chance.

Dam no secondary, I have actually taken peoples guns during a small game elimination before. I ran out of air and found some little kids with rentals that were camping and let them hold my gun and in exchange I took one of theirs. I then went out into the middle of the field and walked around and killed what was left of the other team. It was so funny b/c the campers were like stay here it is safe and I go watch this I am going to stand on top of this hill and kill everyone with no cover. lol

Actually I thought there was only one guy left and I knew where he was but it turned out there was a camper on the other team that was hidden to my left. Luckily he could not aim and missed hit first shot. As soon as I heard hit gun I dropped to the ground and shot him as his paint flew overhead. At this the guy in the bunker that I was shooting at and walking toward tried to jump out but was then shot as I started shooting back at him right after I hit the other guy.
