that used to happen to my friend's cheap ass paintball gun a while back. after he got a better one, he machined his old one a little to try and make it better. he used a drummel to grind down some places and let the thing feed quicker, and also made a few small changes to allow it to fire at a slightly higher pressure.

result was a fire rate (semi-auto) almost as fast as his new (fully-auto) gun, and fucking incredible range
