    so
as simple as i can put it, NO body is PERFEcT for office because EVERYONE who runs for ofice has there own idea of what can make everything better, well one road ggoes right but leaves out the left which in each direction can be found a soultion to a problem if you understand what im saying, for ex. one president would want to issue a whole new currency, which would be great BUT the backdraw for that would be where and how do we get rid and find the funding to eliminate the old?

and another pres would think the oppsite so no matter WHAT desicon any president makes theres always oing to be a negitve "problem" as a side effect

THAT is why peopele compare our presidents to peoiple like hitler because yea hitler was a mass murderer but at the same time, he was a genius and had NO problems

democracy is a great form of gov. BUT people take advatage of it, a communist dictatorship would be perfect but only with a perfect leader who wouldnt subcome to money power and greed and kept a good head on his shoulders
actually it doesn't matter how good of a leader you are, cause that leader will die and someone else will take over with a different set of policies and agenda.

perfect example is look at china's history, there have been many nations to be the superpower in that one nation alone, but yet no one has stayed the superpower forever.

just like the US right now, we are a huge superpower, but eventually someone else will take that spot over. its a cycle.

see so you understand how problems in america wont ever go away, when one problem has been vanquished another will pop up as a result for ridding a problem before it
there will never be a "perfect" goverment because they all have flaws, and world peace is just a dream, even if every nation where to be on the same peace treaty terms there would still be fighting and war, civil for ex, and rebel anarchist ggroups ex.

The US went to Afghanistan and dominated there.

And considering that there hasn't been a single military or terrorist attack on US soil since then, I'd say that we are doing a pretty good job.

Ya... we are doing so great there we are increasing troops there and our generals are saying the country is close to being on the brink of chaos. We went to war against another country which had nothing to do with the attacks and in the process spent hundreds of billions going to war and rebuilding the shit we destroyed. As for there not being a terror attack as a sign he did a good job how often has there ever been terror attacks in the US? The only major ones i can remember were the first attack on the world trade centers, the USS Cole, and Oklahoma city bombing. Just because we went to war does not mean we stopped attacks, infact the only guarantee we can pull from the wars is the fact that we destroyed US reputation around the world and caused more radicals. George W. Bush was not the worst president but he was in the top 10 of the worst presidents the U.S. has had. This was because of his economic policy's (some with the help of Clinton) Handling of 9/11, Katrina, Iraq, Afghanistan, the first bank bailout, North Korea, Patriot act, ... the list goes on. I probably would put more blame on Cheney but in the end all decisions were on the presidents shoulders.

The Gulf War was a WIN.
    This "War" is just retarded.
Were fighting an enemy who wont give up until every last one of us is dead,
    or vise versa.

Say we kill an Iraqi, His sons, His brothers, if they aren't already, will come fight in his place, and have even more hatred for America. This goes on every other time we kill one, its almost endless. If we stay there long enough it would probably stop, but at what cost?

Another thing I noticed is that America seems to value Troop lives more, because the THOUSANDS of US marines and soldiers that were Killed on D-Day, weren't nearly as bad as they make it seem today. Which is a good thing, because any loss of like, even necessary, is never good.

I like the fact that we're trying to help and all but I don't think were doing it right....

    EDIT: I miss Clinton XD
    Well my dad dose anyway.

Res, it is easy to do well in the economy when that is essentially the only thing you have to worry about.

Also, the US soldiers aren't targeting Iraqis.

Also regarding Bush going to Iraq based on false pretenses:

Once again there is a difference between comparing the political policies of someone with Hitler and trying to say that they want to kill everyone. I know that for basically the last 10 years the left has referenced Hitler in relation to Bush not on political grounds but as an ad hominem attack. I know it may be difficult to understand but Fascism does not stand for wanting to kill all the Jews. It is a real political ideology that encompasses a form of national socialism not to be confused with traditional socialism, see corporatism. In fact fascisms first use as a "bad" word was by the USSR where anything that was not in the best interest of the soviet agenda was referred to as fascist. This strategy was later adopted by the left in the states to describe anything that was against the left agenda even if said agenda was fascistic in nature. In fact if you go back to the early 1900s you can see that the American people and the left spoke openly about fascism. You will also see that the political mirror really went into full swing after the 20s where both parties began to basically become two sides of the same coin.

There is a lot of information out there about this stuff but it is not very common knowledge. You can use your own imagination as to why schools would gloss over Americas historical links to the fascist movement and how this movement has greatly shaped the last 100 years of our nation. Regardless, ignoring facts and glossing over the "hard" parts does not remove them from existence. The old news papers are still here the old books still around. Just because no one talks about it does not mean that the real history is gone or never excited. To understand our future and our present you must understand the past.
