Yea, I would suggest the same thing: MP (military police). A lot of them end up as federal agents.

What's your degree in, Loka?

Military does seem like the fastest path to a federal law enforcement job, also guaranteeing you a paycheck/lodging/meals while training. You won't necessarily have that guarantee with a local police job.

Well, I'm taking the ASVAB on Thursday. Recruiter agreed MP straight to Fed Agent is a good path for me. So we'll see how I do on the ASVAB. :]

If I recall I scored low-90's on my practice ASVAB at the Marines office in NY.

My recruiter told me I'm pretty much guaranteed a nuclear position in the USMC.
