i watched grave of the fireflies with my girlfriend.. idk i just couldnt get into it and i was always asking myself "is something going to happen" and it never did and i was bored out of my mind the whole time. she cried for thirty minutes after though...

lol, i kinda recommended it... but i put a warning that it has no end and lots of fillers.

Thats why you skip the fillers. When the you get to the point in the normal Naruto where the episodes start having nothing to do with the original plot, you move on to shippuden. Even then, after you watch all the episodes, not knowing whats going to happen will kill you. Then you move on to the manga. Then after you get caught up with that, you wait every week for the next chapter like the rest of us
