Thread: What should I do?

  1. Default What should I do?

I just got a call from a large financial firm, whose name shall remain undisclosed, and I was offered a leadership position at a new branch.

I asked how they got a hold of my name, and apparently it was some company that I handed my resume to. They liked the impression that I gave off and forwarded my name.

I have an interview scheduled next week.

This is something that I don't know if I can handle. I've never held a leadership position of this size before, and I'm a little surprised I have this position opened to me.

If anyone has any advice of working in the finance industry, please share.

I'm still on track for the U.S. Marines. My friend from NY called me a couple of days ago while I was working outside of the city. I'm about to return his call.

EDIT 01: It's a pyramid scam. Just like that security company I applied at.

    Figures, with my luck.

Coincidentally this is the same company my girlfriend went for an interview it. She hates commission though.

Sadly, if it's too good to be true, it typically isn't true.

Try not to get disenfranchised by some jackass's get-rich-quick scheme.

Sorry to hear that it was a scam.

The whole problem with the world is that fools and fanatics are always so certain of themselves, but wiser people so full of doubts.
