    Do NOT get me started on fucking insulin pumps. I wanted to get one, but they're about $5,000, and none of it is covered by insurance. The pump SUPPLIES aren't even covered by insurance, which means $5,000 for a pump that lasts about 5 years, plus ~$100 for pump supplies per month = >$2,000 per year for a pump on top of what I'm already paying for insulin, test strips, etc. Cannot do.

    Yup, I have insurance. Apparently they pretty much never cover pumps. 'Cause they're not necessary and all.
