I have played an RPG but they are all balanced differently. Bioware I haven't ever played.

@ Xmas - All of Bioware's recent RPG's have used the same engine. Not that it would help you in leveling your character correctly, but that's just something you learn as you go along. Check out these games, all made by Bioware:

lol anyway... umm... "The Witcher" was a great game that used the bioware game engine, no party combat that I can remember... god that game had alot of sex in it.

At any rate.... I DONT recomend the mage as the first play-through.

You don't really know what spells are good for and therefor have to go by description, if you play the rogue or warrior first then you are able to test it out with Morrigan and Wynn.

@ Wicked - You're right Obisidian did make that game, but they used the same engine that Bioware did. Same combat system too, which I why I used it as an example.

I loved KOTOR 2, better than the first actually. Better characters, worlds, lore, fight scenes, story, etc...

Is it bad when you play a game so much that you dream about and your excuse to sleep 30 min. more (hit the snooze button twice) is because you need the key to defeat the dark spawn in your dream?

is this a different fade? there's a specific room that takes you to the second part. after maneuvering the fade for about 45 minutes i got the gist of it and just had to find the other two shape shifter abilities.

i beat the Broodmother on my second try. I had Morrigan and Wynne on the stones, had the dwarf guy tank until he was killed and i helped Wynne and Morrigan from the henchmen and tentacles that followed.
