I believe I have defeated the trojan. No more IE is popping up, and my computer is running normally again!

I have not gotten a virus/worm/trojan since 2004.

I am not running any anti-virus/anti-spyware software.

I back up all my important data to a portable hard drive.

I have mastered reinstalling Windows XP.
