Google analytic is used to track the data. This is the same software that google uses to track its own metrics.

Ah, nice. I use the progenitor of Google Analytics, Urchin, it's pretty good if you can use cookies to track. Sadly, I can't, so I have to track based on ip and UA, sort of limited.
