Thread: Zm Music Update

  1. Arrow Zm Music Update

Please delete ambientzm in your sound folder.

A new update has fixed non working music files and increased download speed

I'm still upset that you didn't use my ambient music for ZM.

    Shit was so cash.

Won't the new ones have slightly less quality?

The whole problem with the world is that fools and fanatics are always so certain of themselves, but wiser people so full of doubts.

WTB a way to NOT have ambient music!!

  5. Default

Yes they will however that quality is now about equal to youtube sound and the average person thinks that is fine. Personally I think it sounds terrible but with all the guns and people yelling you can not notice the difference. Also it is not as though these were really high quality audio files to start with.

Also there is no way to disable ambient music on a client by client basis without crashing the server. One way you could do it though it to replace the music files with blank txt docs that are renamed to the music file. This way when your computer tries to play the music it will get an error and play nothing. In addition you will not dl the files b/c you already have files with the same name in the directory and the downloader can not overwrite files.

I really wish "stopsound" worked in Source... that shit was gold in the old days.

    4) Use admin privileges sparingly and appropriately.

Text documents don't work. The client simply re-downloads them. I'll try to simply generate some blank mp3's and give them the same name.

  8. Default

no the txt files will be .mp3 when I said rename them I meant .mp3 and all this will force it to be a blank mp3

  9. Default

oh! haha that's what I ended up doing.

    Thanks, Zero =P
