design your own tatty. something of actual significance 2 yourself, and not other people.

as you said, as time goes on, your likes and dis-likes change... so make sure whatever you're branding yourself with you actually care about. don't get Chinese characters cause they "look cool" or Egyptian whatever cause it's interesting.... make your own tatty based on something you truly care about. most tatty artists have no problem sitting down with you and designing what you want.
im still not sure if im going to do the egyptian thing. the more i think about it, the more i am getting away from that idea. as time goes on, i will most likely drop that idea with the way i am looking at it now.
but i am seriously thinking about getting something to honor my dad for what he did in the navy though. he spent almost his whole life in the navy and did a good thing for our country. that is something i can be proud of to have a tattoo of.

Exactly! now that's a tatty, something honoring your father and what he did. you will NEVER regret that.

if you go ahead and get your Egyptian tatty, you're more then likely going 2 run into someone who knows a shitload about Egyptian history and Gods, and will start asking you questions about your tatty, and when you realize you honestly don't know much about the thing you got tattyd on yourself or the culture it's self, you're gonna feel kinda silly heh. the tatty based on your dad is a wicked idea. design it in your head, then get a artist 2 draw it up for you.

I think I might get a tattoo of a pizza on my stomach, since that is what is in there most of the time.

Oh, I thought you were going to say pizza on your stomach because you spend most of your time on the couch or leaning back playing css with a box of pizza on your stomach. Which is what I already envision you doing right now at this particular moment in time...

btw here are my tattoos. The large one is on my right arm. I just got that one today with a touch up for like $20 woot t(o.Ot) I plan on getting a big one on the left arm too and get that one also touched up.

    Left Arm: Jupiter
Right Arm: Saturn, Uranus and Pluto (mixed into one)

whats the deal with your left arm? it looks like the guy didn't finish it or something, it's faded and I can see your natural skin through it.

Looks like it's just touched up. Definitely needs to be filled, but you can tell by the ink it's only a touch up.

huh? a touch uped tatty looks new again, and crisp. that's not even faded due 2 time, it's like the artist forgot how 2 color within the lines or something.

Nah that tattoo was done almost about 4 years ago. It was my first one. I didn't have him touch it up because it didn't need to be at that moment. I plan to get another big one like the one on my right arm. Then I will get Jupiter touched up to match the nice tat underneath it. Makes sense kind of? The only real reason why he touched up the one above my new one was because it was faded like the left one and he wanted my new one to match the color so it didn't look shitty.

Really great guy though, cool as shit. I went down to the place and I ended up getting the store owner who did my tat. They even had a Monster Machine. I was in heaven :3

That's what I thought. It looks old. I seen tats like that where years of exposure to sun etc and the ink fades overtime without touch up. Also depends on the aftercare procedure.

Its over my heart because that's where it will always be. I got wounded in the war and I am now medically retired from the military. Everyone says get something meaningful so I did. Only tattoo I got at this point.
    Thanks for representing brother!
