Your going to have to import an export to get one, all because asetek does not like competition here... We finally have a new AOI on the market an not one made by asetek and they force it out.

bought a 39 inch 1080p TV for a new PC monitor. doesn't have VGA, just HDMI ports. hooked the TV up 2 my PC and it wont give me a signal....

plugged a tablet into the hdmi and boom, tablet showed up on the TV.... but can't get my PC 2 for the life of me.

updated vid drivers on my PC, hasn't helped.

Hmmmmm... that's peculiar. I've got my PC running on my 60" LCD TV and it worked like a charm.

Can you give me the model number of your TV and the make and model of your video card on your PC?

I had the same problem with mine just try different HDMI cables. Mine was super picky like that. It didn't like the dynex or rocket fish one, but worked with the o brand name one that came with the playstation. Go figure.

You do realize that a TV monitor is dramatically slower than an actual monitor right?

Try to lower the refresh rate and see if that does the trick. Also try to start off at a lower resolution. Do you get anything when your booting the pc?

Lastly you should try to use a DVI to HDMI adapter and hook it up that way and it might work instantly, I have had that problem in the past.

Don't forget to check your printer cables.

i had this issue with my new tv as well. Im not sure what type of tv you have but if it is possible change the refresh rate on your tv to 60mhz, 99% of graphics cards dont even use the 120 anyways. Also, set your resolution lower. Your computer may be trying to force to the TVS resolution. Set a default resolution on your computer.

if all else fails.. are you under the correct HDMI input?

you can do a quick test as well, power down your pc plug in the hdmi then turn your pc on. Best case is that your screen is black but glowing and the input boxes or "not connected" boxes disappear.

1440x900 is the base resolution. That would be 720P. Any HD display should support it. As mikey said, start at 60 hertz, scale up from there. Scale with the graphics card. After, set up secondary display with horner values. Base these settings from the PC first. Sometimes it takes some tinkering, other times it's PNP.

No there is an aspect ratio difference between monitors and TVs. A tv should not be told to display 1440x900.

Resolutions for TV is 1280x720 and 1920x1080.

Also most tvs have overscan so you may need to build a custom resolution in order not to have stuff get cut off or set your tv zoom mode out a bit.
