Well, My computer has finally seen it's last days. My computer decided that it didn't want to load windows anymore, and shut down every time that I went to the windows login screen.
So, I installed a new HD, but have yet to be able to install Vista. Whenever it gets to completing instillation, it shuts down and when I restart it says "Windows has shut down unexpectedly, please restart to resume installation". Whenever I do that, the same error occurs.
I've been having several issues with my PC, which the ones I mentioned a few pages earlier were the start. Since I can't get windows installed on the new HD due to BSOD/Random shutdowns during instillation, I can't really determine if that will fix the issue or not, but I doubt it. It was worth a shot.
Whenever my PC shuts down, I can't turn it back on unless I use the switch on the back of the power supply, like before, only now it doesn't work unless I have the internet cable plugged in, otherwise it won't start at all, the Power supply will just recycle, like it doesn't have enough power.
As I was instructed by someone, I took out a few of the memory sticks and tried to install vista on the new HD with only 2 gb in...still no dice. I exhausted a lot of options, including loading drivers for my SATA HD onto a jump drive and loading them manually at the installation screen, no dice.
After losing a lot of hope for the new HD, with 2 sticks of ram still in the machine, I hooked up the old HD and it happened to boot windows up without crashing, as it was doing before. I shut the computer down and added the rest of the ram and with anything more than 2gb the computer absolutely WILL NOT load windows. It will with 2 though 0.o. It was okay (Other than the fact that vista is a memory hog anyway, and 2gb was slow as hell) for a while, but then again, shut down randomly. This is the case every time. I can get windows loaded on the old HD with 2gb, but it will shut down, not always within the same time frame.
What are your guys thoughts on what it could be, what might help, etc?
I do plan on replacing some/if not all of the parts, but would like a direction if anyone has any pointers.

If you were a beautiful sound in the echos all around, I'd be your harmony.
