it's nowher near as good as the original

lol.... you either haven't played the beta, or you did like once for 20 minutes on a friends PC, cause SC2 is beyond an improvement from the first 1, so much in the game has been fixed and balanced finally. the maps are a million times better now (they even kept the original good ones) the ranking/ladder system is like a trillion times better then what it used 2 be... the new map editor is just fucking amazing... there's no more late night korean games on the north american end. the work going into the campaign this time is fucking amazing... the UMS maps can do unthinkable things like FPS style UMS games.... there's like an endless list of shit they did 2 make this game epic, and that's exactly what it is.

my only real beef is that thors are underpowered and over charged. and as patches are released they keep making the thor more and more useless.

in the original you could mass like 30 carriers in 15 minutes, this is no longer possible which is great cause not every 1 playing is capping there units and generating more game lag. the game has been changed 2 what is was always intended 2 be, even since the orignal, and that's a rush/micro based game.
