Like stated, it is not illegal unless ran on a script.

With script, it automatically calculates when it will jump when you are about to land so it takes nothing at all to accomplish.

If binded properly it can take skill to master.

Bhopping is accepted in even leagues such as ECO. I believe CEVO made it not acceptable... or was it they limited it to 3 jumps? I don't remember too much.

bunny hopping is illegal in CEVO, ESEA, XPL, ESL and TWL. the only league that it is allowed in is ECO. the reason being, is because it ruins the competitive aspect of the game on all maps completely derailing the purpose of choke points, setup strats, counter flashes/smokes/nades, etc... basically scripters ruined it for everyone else (like me) who legitimately learned how to bhop successfully and consistently. like this guy (he's a cocky and pompous prick on LAN too, and ragequit when they made it illegal in leagues): EDIT: the clips in this video are taken off of pugs on ESEA prior to the bhop (zblock fix) ban.

zblock came out with an update bunny hop fix mid last year though that takes bhopping completely out of the equation and i know zero has zblock on these servers. the fix can be executed via rcon by typing "zb_bunnyfix 1" conversely "zb_bunnyfix 0" shuts it off to allow bunny hopping. this can be added to the server config so that it is always on when the server is up so there are no worries.

if someone could let zero know about this so we don't have people getting banned for bhopping when the zblock fix is off by default.

Sadly that isn't me in the video... I don't threat people like that when I rage. I keep it all inside until it eventually blows out of proportion to the point where I find myself delusional with a pistol and shoot up a mall... ;]

Even still, I go by a different Alias when I enter a competitive team.

I believe that he's not scripting, though. The reason why is because I still think he has a modified slippery mouse wheel that would spin like a pinwheel if needed.

My wheel isn't that great and gets stuck at many places but it is doable.
