The issue is that valve is updating the game for no reason other than to support macs. In the process of doing this they are breaking all the mods, requiring them to all be reprogrammed to work, introducing new bugs and glitches and making the game less compatible by not supporting older systems that currently work fine.

So if your not playing on a mac the "update" only makes the game worse. The update is totally pointless for anyone that does not use mac. We can literally blame all of the problems with the game from when the beta goes live on mac users.
