    Im just annoyed at how the engion cut my FPS in half, I used to get a solid 100+ fps with everything but AA maxed... now I have to put everything on medium to get a solid 60 :/

    Why the hell do I have to buy a new video card for CSS? I mean I was planing on getting a 5770 when 6000s come out(im hoping for it to hit about 100-120$) but thats not going to be untill next year >.<

    Dual core crashed it, also I may be confused but I thought that ment CPU, but CPU doesnt have a major effect on the FPS.

    if they ment dual core GPUs.... well I didnt buy an sliable card

    Edit: the term in-game was muticore rendering, leads me to believe from that wording it would be GPU

    Multicore is for cpu it lets it use mutiple threads. While gpu does improve gaming performance for almost all engines the exception is source. Source is one of the most cpu intensive engines that exists due to physics requirements. Source is much more cpu intensive than other engines. This is why multicore should improve performance on all systems not bottlenecked by gpu.

    Also zm and gg now have tracers back

    I doubt it, valve knows hl2 dm is as good as dead anyways, why else would it have been left out of the massive engine update for all three of the hl2 games?

    Its last update was nov 12 2007 after all and its had a max of only 3,000 players today vs CS:S's 60,000

    Yea, doing that and turing net_graph to 1 helped get me to have a solid 60 fps on all maps and solid 100 on most

    why the hell is netgraph 4 (what it set me on after the update) so intensive that it killed my fps a good 10-30 >.<

    the old net_graph 3 is now net_graph 1

    the net_graph 1 doesnt show loss and choke like the old net_graph 3 did though
