All phones that are not using Verizon or sprint for example are GSM. If it is not CDMA it is GSM. If it is on AT&T it is GSM.
This issue is actually heard quite often but you may not even realize that it is being caused by a phone. If you have ever sat in a class room with speakers for example and hear that morose code like sound come out of the speakers that is it.

Even if it does not break your speaker and electronic equipment it can permanently damage it and effect the sound quality permanently.
Here you see the actual industry war about possible dangers (to avoid being sued)

this is interesting, as I stated before I have never had this problem, and I am around highly concentrated electronic equipment alot. Maybe its not an issue anymore?
No, it's still an issue. It will be an issue until a move is made away from GSM technology. Unfortunately we are in a capitalist mindset where all technology, outdated or not, will be milked of every penny until a change is absolutely necessary. It's not a problem until enough people say it's a problem.
I hate stupid fucking doctors.

But this interference I have never even had friends have problems with. This is all new to me.
I love GSM cuz it has sim cards. sim cards makes it easy to switch phones.
why loka? I hate bros and bro trucks.
sim cards are practical but the use of GSM technology isn't. I love sim cards and wouldn't switch to another carrier for that reason. I work offshore and switch between blackberries anytime I leave.
However there is permanent damage done to audio equipment as ZERO discussed. Several sound producers I know have actually restricted the use of cell phones around the sensitive (expensive) equipment.
I hate people who won't just let me do my job. No, they want to come get me and ask me 10 million questions that I don't have the answer to, and then look at me funny when I say "I'll get back to you on that"...
People, if your family member is in the hospital .. I know you care, really really care...but please, do not bombard your nurses with questions like "Why did the doctor do this?" or "Why isn't the doctor here to see her/him?" or "If the doctor is so sure, then why not this?" blah ba de blah blah. WE DON'T FUCKING KNOW! We can find out, but it will probably be a couple of hours before the doctor even ACKNOWLEDGES that you have questions.. so sit the fuck down and wait.

If you were a beautiful sound in the echos all around, I'd be your harmony.
Because I have a cyst on my boob and they refuse to drain it because it will "fuck up my titties" so I have a cyst on my boob that will want to swell when it feels like it and I can't do shit about it. They had me seeing some dermatologist even though it's a fucking surgeon thing and finally I see a surgeon who doesn't want to "risk cosmetic damage". whatever. I'll live with the fucking thing.
