    actually I have a new (old) theory, mani. I bet the problem is when it writes a lot to the console.log

    I remember that srcds have an issue with dealing with very large files and the console log is the master log of all console based actions on the servers that is 1 continues file with data lasting all the way bask to 2007! I have renamed these log files and hopefully we will suddenly see no more freezing.
