I'm not a fan of Dell either, I've known people that had problems with theirs. I have heard good things about some of their new Studio laptops... I'd have to research that, but I'm too lazy.
agreed. Check out there inspirons, I have two (one for me and the other my moms) great basic computer and for 700 bucks, great multimedia and gaming laptop.

My main is a dell desktop. awesome for the price and better than any other comparable computer.
