ofcourse I have, been listening 2 them on and off through my dads albums all growing up. majority of there music sounds the exact same.
if ive been able 2 listen 2 all of Rush's albums which is like 40 albums over there 40 year career, I think I can hear all of fear factory's stuff....

why's my opinion shitty, cause I don't agree with you? lol....
either way, fine then...
-Godsmack... meh they got some good songs, but I've never been a big fan of them.
-fear factory... lawl
-Metallica.. not a 90's rock band last I checked, but they're the epic of the epic.
-hatebreed.. meh, overrated imo, other then the song I will be heard I have never cared for them. I downloaded all there music and found myself never wanting 2 listen 2 any of it...
-Slayer... good shit, don't listen 2 slayer that much anymore, but ive always enjoyed slayer and thought they're bad ass. but also not a 90's rock band
Rammstein- beyond epic. they have an amazing nack for making catchy songs. for being strait German and having the fame that they do in north America that's props and an accomplishment in it's self.
-Pantera... RIP DD, also a great band and also not a 90's rock band.

I don't get why you say you're not the 1 that made the silly claim that they're 90's rock bands, and then try and defend it?
fact is if you try and claim that pantera or slayer are rock and roll bands... well .. .lol
also when talking about a band and defining there time period, you define them either by when they started, or finally became popular... metallica was formed damn near in the 70's... saying there a 90's band is just.. well do the math bro.

wow your logic fails.
1. i'm not trying to defend his point, i'm trying to argue because i love to argue
2. i never said 90's rock as in theyre peak or defining period of the band, i was stating that they were all active in the 90's, which they all definitely were
3. slayer and pantera ARE rock bands. rock is a wide genre that consists of many sub-genres, such as trash metal (slayer and pantera) death metal, hardcore, soft rock, and the list goes on and on and on. you try to defeat my logic with knowing nothing about what im trying to say and knowing near nothing about music
lmfao I was never trying 2 "defeat your logic" or whatever dumbass thing you said, I was clearly stating that those bands arn't 90's bands, and ive never heard a single person say ya man, "patnera is an awesome rock band!" regardless of rock being a wide variety term.
oh and PS, unlike you, ive seen all the bands you've listed above live, other then rammstein and fear factory.
ive seen damn near every major show there is on the planet, I spend a good 5 thousand bucks a year traveling 2 Vancouver for concerts. if you want 2 claim I don't know anything about music cause I don't agree with you eye 2 eye on everything, well then that can be your own ignorance.
when you've been 2 over 100 concerts like I have and seen the majority of all major venues, let me know.
also as you stated you just love 2 argue, and that's the vibe that's clearly showing, so I'm done with this thread... well not the thread, but done arguing with ya.

For the record, I have heard someone say "Pantera is one of the best rock bands" from another guitarist. Ozzfest 2004 Jagermeister tent. His name is Kerry King. Semantics are for retards who want to argue idiosyncrasies.

I saw pantera at ozzfest, was awesome!
best shows ive seen were Tool, metallica, Rush, ozzy, The Tea Party, ACDC, pink floyd experience. and I say best shows ive seen just based on the performance they put on, and how well the show was put together. actually I saw korn bbaacckkk in the day, and they were fucking awesome also. did a hell of a job live.... fuck... I feel old.
