So I'm to remain banned on insufficient evidence until everyone is satisfied that I'm not cheating? I have to say that treating players as guilty until proven innocent is a strange way to operate a community.

well why dont we permaban you for hacking and wait for valve and zero to sort it out? you would be pissed, as a legit player having to wait weeks to get unbanned for something u didnt do. this isn't the american justice system, this is a GAME server. it shouldn't take that long to be proven innocent

You should just PM zero directly. That will get a response more quickly and he is the final say. Not the others. I personally don't think you were hacking and use sound (which no one who plays in GG does because they talk so fucking much) so just send the PM.

didnt review demo, not at desktop. but was reviewing his stats on the statspage to look for anything suspicious, and noticed that he has nearly a 51 % accuracy in his shots, which is slightly suspicious. other players on the upper echelon of the ranking system averaged around 40 % accuracy with some exceptions.

Think of it like this though, I have a 48% accuracy with 45% of my shots being head-shots. He has 50% accuracy with 43% of his shots being head-shots. Now take the amount of shots he has fired and compare it with mine. Do you see a variance between the percentages and shots fired? He also has a 1.71 KD - which is in no way a "hacking" kill death ratio and he has had games where he's been 17-24; just like anyone who has a bad round. So... he doesn't hack, needs to be un-banned, and people need to actually review demo's before banning; case closed!

Not when the demo was posted in ban requests by a regular perry. in that case any reg can post a demo and get anyone banned, no matter how short or long the ban... its too much.
