Reserve Slots Discrimination!

if ibis is so bad and you hate everything about it so much, then why are you here. Every single time you are on in game its just a constant bitching from your end and it really does get old.

Back to the topic at hand, the slot is there so admins and people with reserve slots can get in. Without the slot there, the people actually donating money to the community can't get in because then it is full. I have never been kicked for a reserved slot because guess what, I am admin and it functions correctly.

In this thread is basically people that do not donate to the community complaining about a feature that is for the people that donate. Jealous much?

this. i donate for reserved slot. never been kicked (except by admin ) and i am always able to get in unless its 21/21. people, just get off your high horse and pay the 1.99 a month. its not like thats a lot of money...... the time u guys spend complaining about reserved slots on here, is time you could be working and earning that 1.99 for a reserved slot!!! durr

We are complaining that it doesnt work correctly, there is no reason for it to not let anyone in unless its at 19/21 that is 2 slots not being used. Reserved slots isnt supposed to keep people out but let people in when the server is at 21/21. the person w/ reserved slot goes in and kicks someone w/out one.

the server is really only 20 slots. He put the extra slot there so people with reserve slot can join. Back before the update it was only 20/20. If the server was full, us the people donating money, could not join gun game. It did not kick people then.

I see where you guys are coming from, but when the server was 20/20, it was the opposite problem. In that case people with reserve slot could not get in.

ok, it works perfectly. here it is. not quite as elegant as zero put it (imagine a fatass being stuck in a doorway, and needing firement to cut him out lol)
but i think it'll make sense.

the server is 21 slots. the 21st slot, is automatically kicked. what having reserved slot privolages means, is that you are immune from the auto-kick. thus, when you join it automatically kicks someone else. HOWEVER, it cannot do that if you're not sitting in the 21st slot. if there is someone in the 21st slot, still connecting (but not "in game" enough to be kicked) the slot is reported as being taken, thus those w/ reserved slots cannot try to enter.

if you have reserve slot and it doesn't let you in, it's cause someone is already in the connection spot trying 2 get into the server, once they're out of it, you get let in right away. most delay ive ever had on getting into a IBIS server was about 10-15 seconds.
