Perry and Blade's description of Michael Moore is pretty well accurate. Just because in this one instance he did something funny or that pretty much everyone might agree with, doesn't change the type of character he generally is.
And it's pretty clear Perry isn't supporting Westboro, so I'd like to say for his sake, back off. I may not know Perry well, but I know him well enough to not say stupid shit like that.

Everyone needs to choose their battles and getting enraged about <150 people is a waste of time and energy.
Their ideals are grossly misdirected and no one disagrees with that except the members of the church. So what else is there to do?
