Most likely its the game. I lowered my resolution to 1024. Which is crappy in my opinion. So far, no crashes after the resolution change.

Your system should be able to handle black ops at 1920x1080. I also got a big performance boost when I updated my drivers to the latest release version (non version number) 260.99 . I don't know what operating system you use so go here: http://www.evga.com/support/drivers/

If nothing else I recommend you defragment your game's cache files through steam.

bought it last sunday for console and liked it enough to take a whole week off computer/other games to play it. great story, multiplayer, and i love the new zombie maps. definitely the best of the series in my opinion

I updated my drivers and did the cache thing. I played for over an hour with no crashes. I still didn't raise it to max resolution. I'll try it to tomorrow.

you should try bad company 2, if you want realism and 2 feel like you're actually in a war, it's the way 2 go. if you want CS style small maps and no world destruction, stick with black ops. both games are great.

Actually, that's the reason why I like the game so much. It's kinda like CSS with the small maps. I actually might donate for an IBIS server.

Personaly i hate this game it is my least favorite call of duty game ever. It is a piece of shit taht crashes all the time, also don;t buy a server it is usless cause u'll never find it the search engine to locate servers is completly broken like most of the game still is, even after 3 months of being released.
