No need to be rude. If the admins learn, then I respect them for that, because we all start somewhere.

None of them will learn. They believe that if they buy admin, they automatically have all sorts of respect and turn into dickwads.

I find admin is really given out too easily in IBIS. Sure it brings in a good cash flow, but whats cash gonna do for you when no one wants to play on the servers?
By screening admins, maybe putting an age limit so the levels of maturity hopefully rise, you can still have a decent sized admin population, but also retain the joy of playing on the servers. No new admin now adays cares what it really means to be an admin.

I find it funny, you talk about maturity levels. Then in the very same paragraph you make the generalization of all the new admins don't care about what an "admin" really means. Interesting, isn't it?

I agree in a way.

I can't wait for Zero to implement the new Admin system. This will help out the server more and more. This is another reason why I am waiting for the new system to come out. These admins now a days are just incompetent. Not all but most.

i notice alot of new admins latley....

almost an obnoxious amount, varying from "who the fuck are you" to "arnt you like a admin dnio" to ones even (i wont mention names) pming me about specific situations and how they should specifically act accordingly.

tbh, a cautious admin, is a smart admin who has potential.. because he is already willing to learn.
thus threw learning he will no longer hesitate and commit the appropriate action accordingly.

but when it come to taz.. well i think he has threw his time, exusted his trust and privileges. i dont say this because i knew from the start but because he really has, looking back up until now... i seriously think it is time (all self grudges aside) that he has full admin taken away, he is beyond Hallwagner and alot of ZM regulars seem to be upset. it takes alot for a WHOLE server of 30 some people to start gossiping about one specific person (Taz) and how he is more then a blight to the servers.

edit: with what i said. i really REALLY cant wait for the new admin system.

Edit 2: wow.. this thread isnt about just taz.. i feel dumb now lol either way, taz falls into the category of "other" in this threads title.
