I've been playing bass for about six years, and have gotten pretty decent at it. Only played alternative rock type stuff up until about a year ago when I got into Thrash Metal, Melodic Death, etc. and started speed picking.

I've been working on vocals over the past year or so too, and I wouldn't call myself good, or close to it, but I've improved a lot, especially metal vocals. I've even got a half decent scream/growl down too.

I write a bit in the way of bass tabs, and lyrics, but nothing that's even close to half finished.. mostly just off the top of my head, from a ways back.

Note the too. I've been singing long before I started getting into any of that. Over the past year I've decided to experiment with it a bit though, along with my falsetto. Screaming isn't hard, but growls/grunts are really tough for me.
