if GW1 wasn't such a horrible game I might care about it's lore... but it was and I don't... so here we are....

am looking forward 2 trying GW2 though.

GW1 wasn't a horrible game at all. At the time it came out it was rather great, it's shown its age lately very well.

Also, the statue and book shit are not worth all that extra money to me, I want more in game shit.

no... it sucked. if you want 2 compare it 2 MMORPG's which is exactly how they marketed the game, it sucked.

couldn't even go where ever you wanted on the maps lol... was so linear.

I only played it cause they constantly kept claiming it's a MMORPG with no fee! yeah... the no fee really reflected the game and how it operated. hated it, had little 2 no fun playing it.

also no jump = fail.

They specifically marketed it as not being an MMORPG. I think they coined the term "CORPG," and they made strides to separate the game from the MMORPG genre.

they also made claims that it would be like a MMORPG that has no monthly fee, and it wasn't anything like a MMORPG... when you leave town, no ones there unless they are in your party... there's nothing MMORPG about that... I could name many more reasons... but see no point.

Did you ignore the part where I told you that they specifically said that their game was not an MMORPG, and that they highlighted the fact at every turn?

So you buy products solely based on singular advertisements, and make no effort to understand what it is that you're purchasing? Suggesting that you'll like product X if you enjoy genre Y does not mean that product X belongs to genre Y.

how am I wrong? they made a claim, it was false.... I'm not seeing where exactly I was wrong. and I believe I talked with mikey about the game before I purchased it... but the end result is you can't really know a game till you play it... I also am down 2 try any RPG.
