i, too, am on anvil rock. transferred to some other one for a test and saw no difference, no reason to leave. going back to anvil rock, at least for now

impressions part deux:

- a word of advice, do not approach this like WoW. do not expect anything like WoW. of course it will have its similarities, but the combat system requires you to think differently and if you expect WoW, you're gonna hate it.

- some epic boss battles are epic. some are just whack this guy until he dies because he's attacking npc's. some are whack at this guy til something you cant see (maybe the boss? not sure...) one shots you, and hope you get revived. i think these bosses could be tackled better with actual strategy but coordinating SO MANY GODDAMN PEOPLE is just impossible, so i feel those boss battles are lacking in some respect.

- the storylines are awesome. watch the dialogues, pay attention, it will greatly enhance your experience. you're gonna be blowing a lot of time on an mmo anyway, why not spend a few minutes making it that much better?

- learn from your mistakes, try different tactics with your skills, play around with different weapons. it's not like wow where a certain playstyle is optimal, it varies greatly from situation to situation, as well as personal preference. they do a great job of balancing this, at least in pve (i havent gotten into pvp yet), so basically anything you try could be viable

only issue i have thus far, is keeping up in levels. I completed everything in Quarry except one bugged skill point and was only lvl 14.. the following stuff for me to do was 17+

Dont get me wrong, i tackle every single event when i see it. Im now in a lvl 24 zone, its easy to get lost, i love it!

i lied, you can take asuran gates to places around the world i.e. other races starting areas!

No im pretty sure max level is 80, i have skills that require lvl 60 to even start upgrading.

Tried once again and without any login problems *Cheer* however it is barely playable for me with the low FPS around people so i'll wait for next beta weekend to see if they fixed the optimization by then as they said they would.


For some reason, they made this build rely on CPU instead of GPU so even if i turn my graphics down to the lowest, it won't change anything. Since the previous build didn't have this problem, it should probaly be fixed at the next BWE.
