So i went Human Guardian, Divinitys Reach is so freakin amazing.. im overwhelmed with how amazing this is.

Swimming is my fav part right now, when i go underwater, i have a whole new set of abilities and weapons.

the random events are also amazing, doing quest then BAM a raid of bandits starts attacking the village.

there is even an instance in the first few levels of the game.

and yes maynard... all of that city is explorable, everything is explorable provided you can get there by climbing ect.

lvl 6 atm, virtually no grind at all, it dosnt feel like it at least. Upgrades are hard to come by. PVP is absolutely amazing and the crafting system is so immense it is overwhelming, something you need more then a beta weekend to delve into. So far the only thing i dislike about the game is the particle effects that block my view of the mobs the party is attacking. Iv been helping citizens and then all of a sudden i look at my map and im butt fuck far from the city, completely absorbed by the games beauty and thrill.

Since everyones story is diffrent, here is mine so far.

By two best friends own a tavern, bandits started a bar fight in which i got to beat them with broken beer bottles i picked up off the bar (like picked up beer, chugged beer, smashed beer, attacked) one of my friends was injured, got supplies, now im infiltrating the bandits and reporting back to Thackeray.

also maynard, sin will be streaming like he said, ask for a link! You truly are missing out, its so fucking amazing.

to get an idea of how BIG this open world is, here are some screenies of just the main world.

Heres my experience of the beta so far:

15 tries to log in without success. *Sigh*

Finally at the character screen! *Cheer*

Created a Human Ranger and watching the intro *Slightly amazed*

End of intro and then stuck at black screen with nothing happening so had to shut down the game. *Huge Sigh*

20 tries to log in without success *Bangs head on the desk*

Got in once again and managed to start playing in the intro story with decent fps. *cheer*

Finished the first story and got into the big world however with a very low fps due the amount of people(20 people or so) even with the settings set to low. *a bit annoyed*

Played through some area events and a random event and then the game crashed.

after 20+ login tries, i decided to shut down.


I find the game so far fun with the amount of things i've done but this sure is a bad optimized beta and i've tried a bunch of MMO betas before with higher computer requirements and with more people around me and i had alot better fps in them even with high settings.

Gonna go to bed and try it out tomorrow if they managed to fix the login issues.

im not sure why you all are having issues.. i havnt had any issues so far, 0 lag as well.

Also i went to use a waypoint but could not. Reason being, a event quest was failed and centaurs bombarded the city, they set up catapualts and everything, we had to fight them out of the outpost, here is a pic of the dead Horse men!
