i did it on the very first map i played single player.

this is what it would look like for us.. only we would see our buildings and the map will end up being 8 times bigger because of how spread out we all are.

it only renders parts of the map players have been to.

you can also render the map in day, night, and by color ratios ect.

for a better idea of what its like here is a screen shot of the map in the actual program you can zoom in and out.

when you zoom in it allows you to see a grid of the map as well like each surface block

Yes im updating the server!

Backing it up first... so we dont have an issue like last sunday...
The world map alone (our world) is over 14000 files now when Last friday was only 8000.

So its just taking a while to transfer files.

And Also hey0 mod is down and I cant seem to get to the forum site to see if theres an update(probably flooded with other admins trying to do the same). so it looks like we will be on the basic Minecraft until I get word of the mod system.
So some of the Features like warp and /sethome may be disabled for a few days.
