Ok, I really think all this blaming people for stuff is really getting out of hand. First off, build a fool proof system to keep your items/area protected. The response people will give to this is "but we shouldn't have to". Yea and in this world everything is free for a price. It's never going to happen that way. Take the precaution to make your place fool proof and build some type of mechanism to keep people out or away from your place. If it looks easy to grief, then no doubt someone along the line that logs in randomly like Luke(something) and decides to grief the easy stuff. This is why I was always against building these elaborate CASTLES/HOUSES above ground. It's just inviting people to blow it up. Plus it's hard enough to maintain.
All that said, I understand people want to stop griefers and such, but there is nothing that can be done when people WANT to grief. Just deal with it and move on. Use youtube to your advantage and build traps, locks, and everything to prevent people from getting in. Learn how stupid people think and build a counter to it. That's what we do and it seems to work wonders around our area ^_^
