Which sucks but not many people play anymore and our server could use a cleanse. Spawn is ruined and there are alot of worthless structures so i wouldn't mind a server revamp/start staring fresh!

no 1 uses the original spawn anymore mikey. make a bed, go 2 sleep in it and where you sleep is your new spawn.

don't really wana lose everything but I think for the new version of MC it would be kinda worth it. also I think we should look into making the server have that mod where you can give yourself whatever items you want without having 2 type the admin command and let people just build amazing shit and have epic structures all over the new server. I think it would be a lot more fun and breathe new life into the server.

change it from a smp to a cmp? (survival multiplayer to creative multiplayer)

if that's the definition of what I said, than yes. I think it would bring a new lvl of fun 2 the game. every time I see people making awesome shit in minecraft it's basically people using that mod that lets them just click on items they want and have them. I think it would be cool having every 1 build real epic shit as killing zombies and skeletons is really only fun for so long.

we could even look at going public with the server if we wanted, they have good mods that don't allow ppl 2 do anything other than observe until they become registered with your community and approved.

don't care either way but I think we should just make the new map into awesome shit we can show off.

we could also do group or community projects like building city's or... shit anything.

id like that idea alot actually, i also like working hard so the things i build are more satisfying but what you suggested would add a whole new level of awesome.

im all for a fresh start.

Edit: its going to sound corney but.. ibis minecraft server youtube videos has been a goal of mine for a veryyyyy long time.... why do you think i get sooo pissed off about all the ugly shit that was occasionally built.

well if we went with that mod so we all could just build epic shit yeah, the sky is really the limit and via youtube we could promote our server and the community.


we've all worked out asses off 2 make the things we've made... lets just have fun for once and start building things that are just beyond epic. machinima even does weekly events where there is a theme and you compete for a spot on the top 5 for for that theme... there's lots of fun and cool stuff we could do with the ability 2 just build.

Hey, I've used the spawn a few times recently... Freaking creepers blowing me and my bed up... Once I just wanted to spawn at spawn rather than where I was, as it's closer to some of my bases.

I'm all for changing to CMP, since certain people already play that way on the current server. I've been wanting a alpha/beta creative server since I started getting bored with the original creative servers.

As an aside comment, if Mag is willing to backup or share the server files, we wouldn't have to lose the work that's been done.

you could only play it with an older version. but who cares, if we all start building epic shit in a month we will have mad cool shit going on again.
