I have been doing research on WC3 sites for my final project in one of my classes. It got me wondering.. how many of you would like or dislike a mobile app for the new forums? Read and post while your on the go =D
It could open up a few more doors as well for ibis expansion as well as being a eye catcher to others outside of our community.

just a poll and something to discuss.

Umm....cant we just use our web browsers on our cell phones? My Crackberry has one and im sure other cell phones have it too....so why make a diff version?

i dont know entirly TO much about it yet but from what i am reading is that it isnt really a new version. just a url for phones. so when you are at home on your comp and type in www.ibisgaming.com you get the normal page but when you type it in the address bar with your phone. it reads it as a wc3 site and you get a faster more efficient forum while using your phone.

I know what you mean. For example I was at the airport a couple weeks ago and pulled out my DS to browse the internet. When I tried to go to www.ibisgaming.com, shit was hard to navigate. A DS version makes more sense then a mobile app.

I'm on the forums on my blackberry all the time. I have no issues with the way it is, seeing how it comes up the exact same as it does on the PC.

anything really, a quicker way to post and reply to threads on the forums when mobile or not near a desktop.

I guess anything involving some innovation with the new forums zero has planned.

I could look into wheather or not there is some sort of universal format that can be used to browse by phones to DS and PSP's
