Oh yea, if we are going to call that an emergency than we should get out the tinfoil hats and throw away out microwave ovens.

The only reason they are acting the way they are is b/c they do not want the public that does not understand how these things work to flip out for them saying it is noting when it is. So they are going to play along to prevent people from being manipulated. Let me show you how below:

In reality there is no real issue. While the backup systems did not work as intended the backup plans for those have. They are responding exactly how they should and these actions are pre planned. They need to release pressure in order to prevent the cooling pipes from blowing. While the release is radioactive it is not any more radioactive than the walls that the physics building here in Kentucky are made from. In fact you can even test this in your own room by having a system store static within a vacuum. The energy will dissipate becuase it is being effected by the radiation from the walls or from the near by ground. This is because the earth is radioactive. They are not comparing the values to naturally occurring radiation just to no radiation which is funny becuase you can never really be in a place void of radiation. While there is radiation that will be released the amounts are not anything that is a problem. So they could just say there will be no radiation leak and calm fears b/c the publics understanding of radiation is different from its actual definition. However telling that lie would have a cost.

If they said there will be no radiation in order to avoid confusion they will in fact be lying b/c there really will be radiation however not any that will do anything. Some people will take this information to manipulate people by saying the gov is lying which they would be. Then then would add new lies to this by stating that the radiation is going to kill everyone or do xyz. They will then link it to a bunch of random stats that will be generated regardless. (Did you know there is a 99.9repeating% correlation with the income of the average American for any given month and the global CO2 average for that same month, this is statistical fact generated from the US gov) They will then use these things to trick people into thinking that this type of power is doing all sorts of stuff and that it needs to be stopped.

So instead they are going to tell the truth and actually drum up bad scenarios that will not occur. Why? Well when nothing happens they can then say look we saved the day reelect us. Logically that is not the main motive but it can not be denied that this is why the scenario is blow up a bit. So why the truth part? Well they can say after the fact that look radiation was let out and this radiation did nothing so that people can not try to make up conspiracies as easily. Basically someone realized that if you just start with the truth it may hurt now but in the long run it will work out better.

This is why our failing school system is such a huge problem. Those who do not understand history are doomed to repeat it. (I replaced know with understand b/c I do not believe that by knowing history you can avoid repeating it) These are exactly the sort of comments that people make when they are ignorant to history. Yes we live in the present but our wold is built and made on the actions of those before us. We can not understand the present without understanding the past it is built upon no more than we can understand a wall without understanding the rocks it is made from. It is the past which sets the stage and context of the present.

History cant be taught to understand in highschool, assuming the person who facebooked this comment is still in highschool, thus giving him an unkown excuse for his words. If not.. he is a dumbass, enough said.

Mummies were found in South American pyramids, also parts of mummies were found in Egyptian pyramids. Neferu-ptah was found in hers (Although not whole or intact.). It is true that no pharaoh has ever been found in a pyramid though.

there's never been a mummy found in a pyramid in recorded history... all kings were burried in tombs that were build in hill sides.

Light water just means that they use normal water to cool it like people with water cooling do. It also means that it can evaporate just as easily and then run out. By comparison my computer has a much better cooling system by not using water so I do not have any of those risks. In addition it will not vaporise at such a lot temp and would thus be better for their application. They will likely need to use salt water to replace it, it will not evaporate as fast and likely retains heat better. However over time this will corrode the pipes and destroy the pump.

If they really want to fix it they need to call in support from the US. Our carrier can fly in some better coolant for them to use. In fact it may be a good idea to use a coolant with a very low melting temp and then use liquid nitrogen to cool the coolant down way below normal to help cool the reactor faster.

Something I always wondered why not as a backup system just have something that totally seals the reactor in the event of a meltdown. Like you just dump thousands of gallons on liquid nitrogen on it until you permanently freeze it. Or some other system that allows you to sacrifice the reactor in order to cool it down.

I did not say a mummy was found in a Giza pyramid... Not all are in Giza. You said no mummy was EVER found in a pyramid... This is untrue. As far as Giza... you are right ,no dead body has EVER been found in one. I suppose different cultures used them different ways, burial or not.
